Built for enthusiasts who’d rather stand out than blend in. Walk through any BMW meet and you’ll see it: row after row of G80s and G82s wearing the same CSL-style or V-style grill. They look good, but they’ve become the default. If you want your M3 or M4 to look like yours, you need something that didn’t come off the same mass-produced line as everyone else’s. That’s why we built the CenCal Carbon Fiber Front Grill, the latest piece from CC Aero, our in-house aero development program. This is our own proprietary design, created by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. No copies, no rebadged catalog parts.

A Design That Ties Your Build Together We didn’t design this grill in a vacuum. Its styling was pulled directly from the rest of our G8X product line, so w hen you pair it with other CenCal parts, everything flows together as one cohesive look instead of a collection of mismatched pieces from different brands. The result is a more aggressive front end that still respects the car’s factory lines. One-Piece, Full Replacement Fitment We chose a one-piece design for one reason: fitment.

Multi-piece grills and carbon overlays introduce extra seams, gaps, and align ment headaches. Ours is a true full replacement for the factory grill, so it installs cleanly and sits right. It’s also compatible with both ACC and non-ACC cars. (ACC is Active Cruise Control, the radar module that sits behind the grill.) Whichever way your car is optioned, small black you’re covered. Fitment: BMW G80 M3 BMW G82 M4 BMW G83 M4 Convertible Why Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Matters Not all carbon fiber is created equal. A lot of the “carbon” parts on the market are wet layup, w here resin is brushed or poured onto the fabric by hand. It works, but the results vary piece to piece.

Our grill is made from pre-preg dry carbon fiber, and here’s w hy that’s a big deal: Precise resin content. Pre-preg (short for “pre-i mpregnated”) carbon comes with the resin already infused into the fibers at an exact, controlled ratio. No guesswork, no excess resin pooling in spots. Lighter and stronger. Because there’s less unnecessary resin, more of the part’s weight is actual carbon fiber. That means a better strength-to-weight ratio and a stiffer, more rigid part. Cured under heat and pressure. Dry carbon is cured under controlled heat and pressure, w hich compacts the layers and squeezes out air. The result is fewer voids, pinholes, and weak spots. Cleaner, more consistent weave.

The fibers stay straight and uniform, giving you that crisp, deep carbon look up close. Better durability. Dry carbon handles heat and the stress of daily driving better than typical wet layup parts, w hich matters for a part sitting right at the front of the car. To finish it off, each grill gets a glossy UV-resistant clear coat. That gives it a deep, wet- looking shine and protects the carbon from fading, yellowing, and discoloration from sun exposure over time. Built the Right Way: From CAD to Aluminum Mold This grill wasn’t rushed out the door.
Here’s how it came together: 1. Designed in CAD around the G8X platform. 2. 3D printed a first prototype. 3. Test fitted the prototype on a real car to dial in every line and mounting point. 4. Produced an alum inum mold for consistent, high-quality production. All in, we’ve put over $30,000 into this project. We’re not in this for the money. We’re in it for the love of the game, and we wanted to build something we’d be proud to run on our own cars. No Badge Left Behind Every order includes M3 and M4 emblems plus a Competition emblem, so you’re never left badgeless. Whether you drive an M3, M4, or a Competition model, you can keep the right designation on the front of your car.
