CARBON FIBER ROOF E46 M3 INTERLAGOS COMPETITION SOLD BRING A TRAILER 6 SPEED

 

This 2005 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it was optioned with the Competition, Cold Weather, and Premium packages. The car is finished in blue over black leather and has been modified with a carbon-fiber intake, aftermarket engine management software, Supersprint headers, a CSL-specification front sway bar, Porsche 996-sourced brake calipers, and Ohlins Racing coilovers. Additional features include 19″ Style 163M wheels, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a CSL-style trunk lid and rear diffuser, xenon headlights, an AutoSolutions short shifter, an Alcantara-wrapped M Sport steering wheel, and heated and power-adjustable Cobra Nogaro front bucket seats. Acquired by the seller in 2014, this E46 M3 has 47k miles and is offered with the window sticker, an owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

 

The car left the factory finished in Interlagos Blue Metallic (A30) and is said to have been repainted in the factory shade under previous ownership. The car has been fitted with a CSL-style trunk lid and rear diffuser, and a Karbonius carbon-fiber roof panel was installed in place of the factory sunroof in 2022 according to the seller. Other exterior details include Shadowline trim, xenon headlights, headlight washers, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED tail lights, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the car sustained damage to the right rear under current ownership and reports that the right quarter panel was repaired and the right taillight was replaced as a result. The windshield and window weatherstripping are said to have been replaced in 2022.

 

The 19″ M cross-spoke Style 163M wheels were added in 2023 and are wrapped in 235/35 front and 265/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that are said to have been mounted in 2021. The car was factory equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), and the ZCP Competition Package added an upgraded steering rack. Modifications are said to include the following components:

  • Porsche 996-sourced brake calipers
  • CSL-specification front sway bar
  • Ohlins Racing Road & Track coilovers
  • Stainless-steel brake lines
  • BimmerWorld rear adjustable monoball control arms
  • Turner Motorsport camber plates
  • Turner Motorsport monoball rear trailing arm bushings
  • Turner Motorsport aluminum subframe bushings

 

Cobra Nogaro front bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery have been installed and are heated and power-adjustable according to the seller. Milled-Effect Aluminum trim accents the interior, and other details include automatic climate control, Harman Kardon audio, and a BMW Business CD stereo that was installed in place of the factory-equipped navigation system. The seller notes that a European-specification parcel shelf and an AutoSolutions short shifter are installed. The front passenger airbag was replaced in 2021 and the headliner was replaced in 2022.

 

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six breathes through a Karbonius carbon-fiber intake and is said to be equipped with aftermarket engine management software. A SPAL electric fan, Supersprint V1 headers, and Supersprint catalytic converters are said to be additional modifications. The seller notes that the double-VANOS system has been upgraded with a rebuilt solenoid coil pack and a replacement oil pump disc and exhaust upper chain guide. An Antigravity lithium-ion battery was installed in 2023.

 

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Ralph Schomp BMW of Littleton, Colorado, along with factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $60,695.
