Eventuri developed the Hybrid Airbox System to support both new customers and those already running an Eventuri intake. The design is focused on maximizing flow efficiency, improving throttle response, and maintaining long term structural integrity in a high heat environment.

The prepreg carbon main airbox is shaped to resonate under load and produce the signature CSL tone. Mechanical fastening and gasket interfaces ensure a reliable long lasting seal even under repeated heat cycles and vibration.

The trumpets are injection molded from glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic. This manufacturing process ensures precise geometry and smooth internal flow paths. CNC stainless reinforcement rings prevent deformation when couplers are tightened. The snorkel channels airflow to the trumpet chamber and houses the factory MAF sensor in a CNC machined mounting boss. Custom fasteners prevent vibration related loosening.

CFD Optimised Flow

The Hybrid Airbox geometry was refined through CFD analysis to ensure uniform airflow distribution and prevent flow starvation during high RPM operation. Eventuri’s patented reverse mounted filter eliminates the restrictive OEM airflow path and ensures smooth airflow as it enters the MAF section. The goal is to reduce pressure loss and maintain accurate MAF readings.

Patented Venturi Technology

The filter housing reduces cross sectional area smoothly to accelerate airflow while maintaining laminar characteristics. This creates a velocity stack effect that increases mass airflow efficiency and throttle response.

The prepreg carbon scoop feeds cold ambient air to the intake opening while allowing brake cooling airflow to continue through the duct. Even after spirited driving the intake cowl remains cool to the touch.
