The factory console in the G8X platform is functional but heavy and visually disconnected from the rest of the car’s motorsport-inspired design language. Karbonius set out to change that with a fully re-engineered carbon fiber replacement built to deliver both aesthetics and performance.

OEM Fitment, Motorsport Construction

Inspired by the CSL console, Karbonius developed this piece entirely from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber, autoclave cured at 125º in Spain under ISO 9001 quality standards. Each unit is 3D scanned, CAD designed, CNC trimmed, and test fitted in-house to ensure perfect alignment and OEM-level integration.

This is not a simple overlay. It is a complete replacement built for performance and durability. The full carbon construction saves more than 4.8 kg over the OEM plastic and metal console while adding structural rigidity and a genuine motorsport feel.

Configuration and Finish Options

The Karbonius G8X console is offered in several configurations to suit different builds and preferences.

• Default option: console, hand pad, and armrest in 2×2 carbon fiber, matte or gloss.
• Upholstery upgrades: Alcantara or black leather for the hand pad and armrest.
• Weave and finish: 2×2 twill carbon fiber only, available in gloss or matte clear coat.

Each console also includes three interchangeable frames for customization:

• Closeout frame for a clean CSL-style appearance
• CSL/CS wireless charger frame for integration with the OEM charger
• Cup holder frame compatible with factory G8X cup holders
