This 2022 BMW G82 M4 was converted into a UTE and sold on Bring A Trailer recently for $93,000. Competition, xDrive, 2 previous owners, 8k miles. What do you think about this?

This 2022 BMW M4 left the factory as a Competition xDrive coupe, which served as the foundation for a subsequent “Ute” conversion commissioned by the owner and performed by DinMann of Los Angeles, California. The build involved shortening the cockpit, fabricating a rear cargo bed, modifying the carbon-fiber roof, and installing a carbon-fiber grille, rear diffuser, and side skirts. The interior was also modified with carbon-fiber components, including the steering wheel and trim. The “M4Maloo” was subsequently displayed at SEMA wearing a metallic blue wrap, which has since been removed to show the Brooklyn Gray Metallic finish. Modifications to the 3.0-liter S58B30 inline-six include the addition of Pure Turbos Stage 2 turbochargers, a Wagner Performance carbon-fiber air intake, bootmod ECU programming, and a GTHaus Meisterschaft valved exhaust system. 

The engine is backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and an xDrive all-wheel-drive system. AST lowering springs have been installed, and the vehicle rides on Y-spoke 19″ and 20″ wheels fitted over M Sport brakes with red calipers. The carbon-fiber front bucket seats trimmed in Fiona Red with black inserts were retained along with the ICON adaptive LED headlights, head-up display, active cruise control, Harman Kardon audio, and gesture control. This G82 M4 Ute conversion is now offered on dealer consignment with a digital window sticker, build photos, and a Texas title.
