RELIABILITY / PREVENTATIVE WORK
– Aluminum charge pipes and metal J-pipe: the number one F80 failure points, eliminated
– Valve cover replaced at 91k
– Turbo O-ring seals replaced by me at ~94k, turbos inspected at the same time, zero shaft play
– Air-to-water intercooler (top-mount) replaced ~60k
– Oil cooler seals replaced 11/2023 at 73,945 (Mporium BMW)

MAINTENANCE
– Liqui Moly 5W-40 exclusively, changed frequently (several by me, so not all appear on Carfax)
– Liqui Moly Cera Tec roughly every other oil change
– Engine flush at ~80k before a fresh oil and Cera Tec treatment
– Spark plugs replaced ~77k (about 18k miles ago)
– DCT fully serviced with new pan, seals, and filter at 73k miles,
– Differential seals replaced to fix a minor leak, 11/2023 at 73,945, fully resolved
– Brakes: front and rear pads and rotors 11/2023 at 73,945, brake fluid flushed 05/2026
– Coolant and transfer case fluid serviced
– Last oil change: Mporium BMW (DFW), 06/2026 at 95,083
– DCT transmission fluid level checked and topped off at last oil change of 95,083

TRANSPARENCY NOTE: During the PPI the front left strut was replaced (June 2026) with a like-for-like replacement unit, not new OEM. The original was cosmetically damaged during prior wheel/tire service at another shop; it still functioned fine, but I did not want to leave it, so I replaced it. Fully resolved.

CONDITION: Honest 8/10 exterior with some rock chips on the front bumper (normal for a 2017). Interior is immaculate, rear seats look near-new. No PPF and no paint ceramic coating; wheels have a spray-on protectant. Everything works, no warning lights, no known mechanical issues.
