Selling due to a business opportunity that came up. Have only had the car about 7 months, only use it as a weekend driver to car shows so miles may go up slightly. Otherwise, it is garage kept. This is my 3rd m3(2nd e46 and an e92). The description below is from one of the previous sellers. I can try to answer questions as best I can, but the description below is pretty much all I know about the car
ï‚· This M3 features the desirable 6-speed manual transmission.
ï‚· The attached Carfax history report shows no mileage discrepancies in this E46’s past. It also
confirms it has been registered in California since new.
ï‚· According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes xenon
headlights, leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated front seats, automatic climate
control, and a Harman/Kardon sound system.
ï‚· Modifications to this M3 are extensive, and the full list is detailed below. Highlights include a
Horsepower Freaks stage 2 turbo kit, custom exhaust, methanol injection kit, and clutch kit, Tein
adjustable coilovers, Powerflex di erential bushings, 19-inch Avante Garde black CSL
wheels, front and rear Brembo brakes, black kidney grilles, a carbon fiber rear di user, side
skirts, hood, and trunk, a CSL front bumper, Carbontastic steering wheel, a UUC
Motorwerks short shifter and aluminum pedals, two 8″ Morel subwoofers in a custom
enclosure, and a hardwired Valentine One radar system.
ï‚· The third-generation M3 made its debut for the 2000 model year as the quickest and most
powerful evolution of the E46 3 Series. Offered as a coupe and as a convertible, it received a
high-revving straight-6 engine, suspension improvements, and a muscular-looking exterior
design. More than 20 years after its introduction, the third-generation M3 remains a favorite
among enthusiasts thanks in part to its excellent handling and classic BMW styling.
ï‚· Power comes from a 3.2-liter S54 inline-6. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed
manual transmission.

The first three owners meticulously serviced and maintained the car exclusively through BMW of
Mountain View, collectively driving it for less than 70,000 miles. The fourth owner had VF
engineering install a supercharger that encountered an issue. Fortunately, VF covered the cost of a
new block. Seeking more power, the fourth owner had HPF install a stage 2 turbo kit. The vehicle
accrued less than 20,000 miles since the installation of the Turbo kit. It underwent a
comprehensive overhaul, including HPF’s Stage 2 Turbo Kit, exhaust system, clutch, meth kit, and
likely more components available at the time. Subsequently, the car changed hands to Danny Pak,
as evidenced by his Instagram posts, before eventually finding its way back to the owner of a
bespoke Euro car shop in San Jose, who I purchased it from. I’ve been in communication with John,
the Chief Builder at HPF, and Dan at Vivid Racing who holds the HPF intellectual property rights, to
gather more insights into the vehicle’s history. I had a PPI done at EAS as well as BMW of Irvine
which is encompassed in the recent service history. I Hope this provides a clearer picture.
Stock engine internals, not opened, HPF 750CC injectors that were just serviced at RC Injectors
3/4/24. It has a pump gas and race tune currently mapped. The race key allows to switch between
pump and race gas. It is a separate key that is on the steering column.
According to John at HPF, most Stage 2 cars produce around 600 WHP. This car is equipped with a
standard pump gas tune and also includes a “race key” tune on the column.
The methanol tank is under the hood, you fill the tank, and flip the switch in the center console.
