The E36 LTW style spoiler has long been sought after for the E36 chassis. It was first seen on the ultra rare Lightweight BMW introduced in 1995. Since then, you can no longer purchase the original spoiler from BMW, so we set out to find the best available replica we could find. These LTW style replica wings are made from molded ABS plastic, not fiberglass. They feature a true 4 piece (high rise) or 2 piece (low rise) design unlike many cheaper replicas on the market. The ducktail spoiler for the E36 is nothing new, but the fitment never seemed to be great on competitor products. We set out to change this. Our ducktail style trunk spoiler was hand shaped to create the perfect mold. We then use a thermoform process to create each spoiler out of high quality ABS plastic. Don’t waste your time with fiberglass alternatives. Give your E36 that unique look, and hit the track. Installation: We recommend using high strength 3M double sided tape, or rivet the spoilers to your trunk. All GT Series wings feature an all-new, low-drag, aerodynamic 2D designed airfoil shape. The 2D design allows the wing to maintain a consistent level of downforce across its entire span. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis was performed on this wing to support validation of its aerodynamic design. Each GT Series airfoil is composed of lightweight and durable carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials.
