BMS is the manufacturer of the world-famous JB4 performance tuner in addition to chargepipes, intercoolers, oil catch cans, wheel spacers, water injection kits, tools, and other automotive performance oriented products.

The JB4 is a plug and play tune available for turbocharged vehicles. The JB4 tuner installs between your car’s sensors and its DME/ECU (computer) and manipulates vehicle performance through these connections making your vehicle much faster. While it’s not the only tuning system that operates this way the JB4 separates itself from the competition with much more advanced connection points and processing including CANbus, fuel & spark control, bluetooth to your smartphone, and a variety of innovative and advanced features not possible with any other system. BMS regularly publishes free mapping and firmware updates adding performance and features as ongoing development allows. In addition the JB4 system is not VIN locked to your vehicle and can be quickly removed without a trace and swapped between cars or resold at a later time. Often imitated but never duplicated the JB4 has been the gold standard in plug and play turbocharged performance tuning for over a decade.

This plug and play BMW tuner attaches to two easy to access sensors in the engine bay and works with your factory DME tuning to remap your boost, timing, and fueling for optimal performance and reduced turbo lag. It features a 64mhz processor allowing sensors to be sampled 800 times per second using dedicated 10 bit digital to analog converters, ensuring smooth and powerful performance. The same box automatically detects whether you have an N20, N55, or S55 motor based on the TMAP sensor voltage and adjusts the tuning accordingly.

Power gains on the N20 motor are up to 45 horsepower and 60 torque (35hp and 50tq at the wheels), on the N55 motor are up to 50 horsepower and 65 torque (40hp and 55tq to the wheels), and on the S55 motor up to 60 horsepower and 75 torque (50hp and 60tq to the wheels).

Installation is very discrete and it is quickly removed without a trace when needed. Fuel economy during normal driving is unchanged. Compatible with all driving modes.

Part F30-N55-STG1 is CARB Approved Under Executive Order (EO) No. D-744-1 for 2013 BMW 335i models only. All other applications are competition race use only and not legal for use within California.

For your fuel line upgrade, choose the option that supports your current configuration.

• HPFP to the fuel tank: (Stock)
  • This upgrade replaces both stock fuel lines with one upgraded continuous fuel line from the fuel tank to the HPFP and adds the ethanol sensor.

• Port Injection to the fuel tank:
  • If you are running our port injection kit, this upgrade replaces the stock fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay, integrates the ethanol sensor and then utilizes a Y adapter to supply the HPFP and PI with fuel.  Our custom fittings remove those tee’s and extra fittings for a cleaner high flow setup.

• Non-Fuel-It! port injection to fuel tank:
  • Choose this option if you are running a port injection kit that we did not manufacture.  This kit includes a longer 18″ feedline from the Y to the port injection rail.  You then cut the feed line to the length you need and install the included -6an female fitting or -6an female elbow to make the connection to your port injection rail.

All of our kits utilize our custom billet aluminum fittings to integrate with the stock fittings so no modifications are needed.

*For the BMW F-series JB4 platform connect the white wire to position #16 on the JB4 25 pin harness.  Select WMI Ethanol Setup option 1 to enable pin location 15/16 flex fuel input.

*These kits are available for off-road use only

*Ethanol Sensors don’t actually read the ethanol content, the readings are based on the absence of gasoline, so if your fuel is contaminated your ethanol readings may be artificially elevated.
