Selling my extremely clean 2012 BMW M3 Coupe with just 34k miles! I absolutely love this car, but I caught the GTR bug and am ready to sell. This is desirable spec and is one of the cleanest examples of an E92 M3 you will see.

I was obsessed with getting this car to perfection and keeping it that way. I have taken care of all necessary maintenance for the mileage and have gone above and beyond to correct any imperfections.

The car was garaged under my ownership and detailed at least once a month (air dried). I generally take this car out once for a spirited drive on the weekend, but it spends most of its time parked. The car is always properly warmed up and is never beaten on.

The car runs and drives great! The paint and interior are also in excellent condition.

I am in no rush to sell. Looking for the right buyer who appreciates this car the way I do.

Asking: $49,999 OBO
Location: San Diego, CA

– Rod bearings + major maintenance done at 33k miles
– Alpine white, carbon roof, extended fox red leather interior
– Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers
– TE37 Wheels w/ Pilot Sport 4s

– Navigation professional package

History:

I purchased this car from Proper Performance Motors in Scottsdale, Arizona in April of 2023 w/ 32k miles. The car has 6 previous owners and was originally on the east coast, which was a red flag for me when I was considering purchasing, despite its pristine appearance. As a result, I sent the car to Babbit Motorwerks before purchasing it for a PPI. They came back and echoed how pristine the car was for its age. My main concern was rust, since it was on the East Coast. They inspected the undercarriage and informed me no rust was present. With a thumbs up from Babbit, I purchased the car.

I do not have any knowledge of the car’s previous history, but it was modified by the previous owners with Ohlin’s Road & Track Coilovers, the M-Performance Exhaust mod, IND painted emblems, retrofitted headlights, some IND interior pieces, and some exterior carbon bits.

I had the car shipped from Arizona to San Diego, where it now lives permanently. I had the car immediately inspected by SD Garage in Escondido, who also took care of some preventative maintenance as well.

I have done some light modification to the car under my ownership.

Maintenance ($7,432 Spent):

34,376 Miles @ SD Garage
– Redline 5w50 oil change
– General Inspection

33,789 Miles
– Jack pads replaced w/ OEM
– Front bumper guides replaced w/ OEM

33,470 Miles @ Studio RSR
– VAC Rod Bearings (I have OEM bearings + receipts that will be included)
– ARP Rod Bolts
– OEM Gaskets + Hardware
– Motul 8100 Oil Change
– Power steering fluid flush
– Valve cover gaskets replaced w/ OEM
– 1 coil pack replaced w/ OEM (broke during rod bearing service)

32,581 Miles @ SD Garage
– DCT Service (w/ side gasket)
– Redline 5w50 oil change
– Diff service
– Spark plug replacement
– Brake flush
– Battery cable replacement
– Airbox replacement

Modifications:

Performance/Handling ($8,235):
– Ohlins Road and Track Coilovers
– TE37 SL Wheels (Mercury Silver 18×10) w/ Pilot Sport 4s Tires and TPMS (installed at 33k, so tons of life on tires)
– Future Classic Spacers (5mm Front / 12mm Rear)
– M Performance Exhaust Mod (only modified back muffler, all other exhaust components OEM)

Exterior ($2850):
– GTS Style Front Lip (Mashimarho)
– XPEL Prime Plus XR Window Tint (70% all windows)
– Carbon Side Skirt Extensions, Carbon Diffuser, Carbon Bumper Extensions (POM Performance)
– Carbon fiber mirror caps
– Carbon fiber trunk spoiler
– Modstyle Extended Exhaust Tips
– IND Black Painted Emblems
– Retrofit headlights (I am not sure who did these as they were done by the previous owner)

Interior ($500):
– MR12volt Headunit w/ Wireless Carplay
– Aluminum pedals
– M Performance E-Brake Handle

Known Flaws/Issues:
– Two smalls nicks in the paint on the drivers side door (pictured)
– One small nick on the hood by the hump
– Some paint imperfections on the front bumper around the vents. The previous owner had a different carbon lip that rubbed a bit on the inside of the vents.
– Passenger side door card sometimes makes a light rattling noise if the bottom compartment is closed. I just leave it slightly open and the noise goes away.
– The rear sunshade goes up, but will not go down. I had this same problem on my M5 and seems to be present on most cars with this feature.

The original manual and two keys will be included as well as an OEM front sunshade. I also have a folder of receipts and a spreadsheet of modifications and maintenance under my ownership.

There is a lien on the vehicle through Penfed Credit Union.

Please reach out if you have any questions or would like any additional pictures of the car.
