Contemplating selling/trading one of my fun cars. 2002 E46 M3 convertible. Clean title. 194k miles. 14k on swap. 6 speed manual. I originally bought this car with no motor and transmission, previous owner used the S54 to swap his wagon. This is now my third LS swap into an E46. I love this car so much, and driving it is that much better… but I do like other cars so this one is next to be listed.

* Motor was built to rev high, and make power through the top end. (In an attempt to mimic a S54) I believe the limit is at 7500-7600 rpm? I can’t remember.

* Now the cons :,( Which are the things I planned to getting to this spring when I had free time…
* The notorious E46 M3 differential pinion seal leak has just started recently.
* The front seal on the motor is seeping.
* Soft top is functional, however I discovered that one of the hydraulic cylinders has a leak as the fluid would get lower after about 15-20 cycles.
* Atlanta has left it’s mark on one of the rear wheels, it’s bent :(, found this out after having the rear tires swapped.
* No, it doesn’t come with the BBS LM’s.
* This car has been on the road since January of 2023. I’ve driven it to south Florida and back with ZERO issues. (other than consuming a modified V8’s worth of gas) More recently, it was my daily driver (up until late January) to Roswell and back 5 days a week (about 100 miles round trip). That’s where most of the miles were accumulated. This car has been through rainstorms, standstill traffic, open highways, and has never missed a beat. I think I have mentioned everything done to this car, I may have missed some things as I wrote this going off the top of my head.

I’m asking 24k for this car. ONLY trade I’d be interested in is an F80 M3. Open to blown motor/spun crank hub cars. Willing to add cash for the for a running/driving vehicle. It’s available if it’s listed. *Hagerty values it at 32k for insurance purposes.*
