Selling my 2002 BMW M3, this is my baby and dream car and have treated it as such. I truly love this car and hate to sell it but I have moved to a place where it just doesn’t make sense to only drive this car a couple months out of the year due to weather. With that in mind please see below for all the information about my car. Please let me know if you have any questions.
3rd owner
Mileage: 111,348
Transmission: 6sp Manual (Converted from SMG)
Color: Carbon Black
Engine is 100% stock.
Clean and clear Colorado Title
No accidents
Exterior: 9/10 (couple little things but recently had front bumper/fenders/trunk/side mirrors resprayed and PPF then Ceramic coated. Rest of car was compounded and polished by myself and then ceramic coated at the same time as the newly painted parts.
Interior: 9/10 (only things left I would want to do is replace the B and C pillars because the cloth is starting to come off the pillars a tiny bit (20 year old glue). Driver’s side leather seat has some wear on the bolster. Would be best to replace or get redone professionally. Door cards have a couple scratches but nothing bad. Once again if it is me, either wrap over or replace from fcpeuro or ecstuning. The shift boot and steering wheels are also alcantara from the CSL model as well. I have also steam cleaned and carpet shampooed the entire interior of the car including the trunk and used a vehicle scotchgaurd product (GTechnic Smart Fabric) to help with dirt and ease of cleaning.
Documentation: I have 99% documentation from the day this rolled off the assembly line (From BMW and previous owners), as well as a log book of everything I have done under my ownership of 3 years with: mileage, who performed the work and receipts (even replacing just a bolt). Only thing I do not have documentation for is the SMG to Manual conversion by the previous owner, however, I can tell you it was done correctly as it shifts smooth and I have replaced the: Rear main seal, clutch, throwout bearing, done transmission flush (will outline this below in the maintenance section).
California car till my ownership and has lived in a climate controlled garage in Colorado ever since (2021). Only leaves the garage to get cleaned or driven and lives on a battery tender.
I have put just under 7k miles on this car during my 3 year ownership.
Insured by Hagerty as a collector car and appraised as such.
Extras:
Full OEM CSL bodykit from BMW (front bumper, rear diffuser, trunk) (Very rare and $7k from BMW if bought, previous owner had these added)
Recently front bumper, front fenders, side mirrors and trunk were resprayed by Glasshouse Painting in Denver, CO. Then wrapped all of that in PPF by Sterling Customs in Commerce City, CO. Finally, fully ceramic coated by myself (I am a professional detailer) in Gyeon Mohs Ceramic coating (This is a 5 year coating)
19″ CSL staggered wheels powder coated black wrapped in PS4S tires (275/35/19 R, 245/35/19 F)
Bilstein B16 fully adjustable coilovers and springs (lowered the car 1/2″, but can be adjusted to your liking without removing the wheels or lifting the car.
Alpine touchscreen navigation system (Android auto/Apple carplay, bluetooth)
New center console and dash trim pieces (All OEM from fcp euro)
New headlight lenses
Replaced Halo lights with multi color that you can control from a remote. I only use them at shows
Rogue Engineering Rear shock mounts (Can now access the mount bolts from the wheel well without removing trunk interior.)
Maintenance under my ownership:
Big 3 all done (Subframe reinforcement and Vanos refresh by previous owner in the last 30k miles, have receipts) I had the rod bearings replaced with ARP bolts and WPC treated bearings at 107k miles (All done by Black Canyon Performance in Arvada, CO)
Replaced oil pan, oil pan gasket.
Replaced clutch along with Rear main seal, throwout bearing and a transmission flush
Oil change every year (Black Canyon Performance)
Upgraded suspension to Bilstein B16 as the original bushings were shot.
New windshield last year
Lots more maintenance and will provide all documentation both physical paper and pdf’s as well as the log book so you can continue keeping track of this beauty.
Willing to negotiate on price and listen to a trade deal but depends on the car (Only interested in Mitsubishi Evo or Audi RS4/RS6).
