Always garaged, very clean example, and intended as an “ode to sound” with the CF airbox. Over $12k in mods / maintenance over the past 4 years while working to keep an OEM look and feel. Lots of “unobtanium” pieces here for someone looking to start off with a great base. Reason for sale is that I picked up a very unique S54-powered X3 (right here on M3List) and unfortunately my loving wife has (always correctly) stated that one of the current vehicles must go.
So here it is, for sale, or at least until I change my mind and find a Hagerty’s garage where I can justify the spend and hide it from her.
She’s an absolute gem (both the car and the wife), and I cannot tell you how much the carbon fiber airbox was meant for this car. From 1/2 way down to WOT, it’ll just bring the largest smile to your face. (now I’m just talking about the car). The big 3 have not been done, mostly because time of ownership, amount I’ve driven it over the years, and the Blackstone oil report haven’t driven any real urgency to go and make any changes. If the following oil report showed anything worsening, if it remained in my ownership, I’d start planning for it.

Modifications include:
– Factory hardtop (two tone) with Alcantara headliner
– F10 M5 illuminated shift knob
– Turner Motorsport carbon fiber airbox + Evolve Alpha-N Tune
– Genuine BMW E46 M3 CSL wheels freshly powder coated with Firestone tires (2000mi on them)
Nardi wheel *not* included in sale. Being sold with original wheel (in great shape)
Factory Maintenance (in my time of ownership) includes:
– Entire A/C condenser unit
– Plugs & Ignition Coils
– Brand new Genuine BMW key (plus original spare)

Known Issues Include:
– Scrapes and chips along the front bumper (mostly highway car for its life)
– Water leaks into the car from the driver’s side A-pillar with the hardtop on. Car always garaged so it doesn’t see rain almost ever.
– A couple of slight imperfections on the body, standard dings here and there
– A belt whine has suddenly developed. I am going to get this resolved before the sale of the car with a new belt/tensioner.
Willing to trade for a manual transmission wagon + cash. If S54 powered even better.
