Current owner since 1996. Purchased from 2nd owner with approx. 42,500 miles.
Over time, converted from street car to track car, used for driving and instructing at high performance driving schools. S14 motor eventually modified to 2.5L spec.
2.5 L spec: Approx. HP at wheels: 197, Torque: 172
In 2002, car converted to full race spec for BMW CCA Club racing in DMod class.
Cage by Wes McReynolds former cage builder for Korman. Interior stripped, door windows removed, racing seats and harnesses, fire suppression system, larger (66L) fuel tank to avoid starvation.
Ran in DMod for 4 years, finished first in class 5 or 6 times, usually finished in top three. After 4 years, and a failed S14, decided to leave Club Racing, go back to instructing. Wanted a very reliable engine, drive train, did some research and decided to change to an aluminum block 6 cyl M52B28 motor and e36 M3 drivetrain.
Conversion done by Ken price at kengineering in Cincinnati, OH. Full details of the conversion with all the parts available. Conversion completed 2007
Car as it is today:

Shocks: TC Kline double adjustable. Can’t recall the spring rates, but fairly stiff
FR and RR adjustable sway bars (Ireland)
Lightweight flywheel, shifter from UUC
Driver seat OMP THE 400 (2018) Pass Seat Cobra Imola GT (2018)
VAC Aluminum floor pan kit, Bimmerworld pedal covers, built in “dead pedal”
MOMO steering wheel (removable) Odyssey “extreme” battery (behind pass. Seat) Harnesses Schroth 6 point-out of date
Car involved in an incident at VIR in 2016. Body panel damage was repaired. New EVO 2 Front fenders (permit 17 inch tires) and new EVO2 Front Bumper Cover installed. Repair and repaint by Mc Duffie auto in Greensboro, NC. Post repair, Korman inspected and replaced minor suspension damage at right front and re-aligned. Korman added Evo3 splitter at front to increase front downforce. Work completed in 2017. For some reason, this work is not shown in CARFAX report which is clean.
Since 2017 have driven on track 3 or 4 times a year.
Paint is in very good condition except for two scratches on roof, (I think I ran the car too high on my lift).and damage in one spot on rear bumper cover (I have no idea where that came from)
Car is street legal where I live, but I do not drive it on street except to go for service. Always serviced once a year with full fluid replacement, safety check, etc.
I have 25 years of receipts/invoices/information including some from prior owner.
Wheels: One extra set of 17×8” Team Dynamic wheels with new Continental street tires.
Misc spares, brake pads etc.
