What made you want to buy an M3 over something else?

I’ve always wanted an e90 m3 since high school. My dad had a e39 540i when I was younger and gravitated towards bmw pretty early on. As I got out of college, I truly realized how special the e9x platform was and knew I had to have one. I owned a f30 335i before my first e90 m3 and was disappointed with how it drove.

How did you find your M3 for sale?

I found my current e90 m3 through m3post.

What have you done to the car since you bought it?

I have done the eventuri plenum, turner carbon intake, f80 seat retro fit in sahkir orange, magnetic paddle shifters, tc Kline coilovers, 19 inch TE37 SLs with cup 2s, stainless steel brake lines, gt4 front lip and m performance exhaust.

Favorite modification that you’ve done to your M3 and why?

Eventuri Plenum, coilovers or f80 seat swap. Hard to pick one! All 3 amplify the driving experience in their own ways.

Are there any negatives or downsides about your M3?

Gas mileage and lack of low end torque.

Have any advice for somebody who’s looking to buy a BMW M3 that you wish you knew from the start?

Maintenance over mileage and buy the seller! Low mileage doesn’t mean trouble free and if the seller doesn’t seem honest walk away. I’ve bought all 3 of my m3s this way and have never had any major problems arise or surprises after the fact.

What maintenance have you had to? Anything that caught you by surprise or that you anticipated?

I bought my current e90 m3 shortly after a major service at around 103k. Including rod bearings, dct reseal, valve cover gaskets, motor mounts and few other things. So I have been fortunate to have only had to do oil changes and replace 2 small things. The fuel breather valve and the brake boost sensor.

If you could buy any 3 BMW’s, what would they be?

E92 m3 gts or e90 m3 crt, e46 m3 csl (with a manual preferably) and an m2 cs.

What other cars have you owned?

I owned a genesis coupe (previously featured on smurfinwrx YouTube channel), f30 335i, e90 335i, e46 m3 and Na Miata + a red E90 M3

What other hobbies do you have?

Video games/ sim racing, weightlifting, and eating out with friends.
