Introduction
Hey my name is Mark, and for sale is my 1995 BMW E36 M3 Dinan Coupe. This classic E36 is supercharged and methanol injected, with currently around 82,000 original miles. There is a total of 4 owners including myself, and has been in (1) accident in 1997. The title is clean.
“Why are you selling the car?”
I need the funds in order to pursue a land purchase in the future, and just recently got engaged. Recouping what I can is necessary at this point in my life. I’m able to take on any additional photo requests as-well.
History
This car was built by the notable company Fall-Line Motorsports in 2005. There is easily over $30,000 in upgrades completed, a lot of which I have those records for in a binder. There is also many rare and discontinued parts that any enthusiast would recognize. I haven’t seen anything like this E36 in New England, and I feel someone will appreciate the “no budget” modifications that were performed like myself. Re-creating it would be very hard price wise. I transported this from Arizona, and paid a pretty penny because that and lack of rust! However, please keep in mind this car is NOT perfect being that is still 27 years old, and is sold “as is” ofcourse. Theres alot more potential to be had in the right ownership. This car is for someone experienced with this chassis, and a track inspired driver would be most suitable.
The Details
Flaws I’m Aware of:
For cosmetics, there are some minor paint defects in a few areas. Near the belt moldings and trunk emblem, slight delamination is present. One small dent on passenger fender and roof, and a few almost invisible scratches. The 2 front wheels have brake dust from race pads, that is incredibly hard to get off. The car sits low, and because of that the fender liners are pretty messed up from hitting the tire. On full locking turns, you can hear it touch. New ones will be included with the sale. I plan to raise the suspension height for the new owner. Unless you are overly particular, the car looks fantastic.
Mechanically I recognize a few front end leaks, from the bottom -end of the car, nothing from the top. On 8/7/23 it’ll be at Eurotech Motorsports to view it’s mechanic status and have a full run through. Whatever it costs. This is a track car, and drives like one – truly needs to be kept in mind. It isn’t a new Lexus… where it feels like driving on clouds. Other than that, the key fob buttons don’t operate, so it requires manual unlock/locking. I have a lot of keys for the car, probably everyone that originally came it. An Oil change and new street pads were done on 6/30/23
